PRA Plastics & Developments Ltd is a leading provider of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) products to the healthcare industry. These products include bedding protection, vacuum casting bags and wheelchair protection. In addition to this we provide TPU Film in sheet form to any required length.
We use the high-performance technical film, Platilon® U, because of its elasticity, durability and high strength to low tear ratio making it extremely tough and resilient. Because the material has a thickness of only 80µ it is also very mouldable. Platilon® U is the trade name for extruded thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) films made by Epurex.
In listing further applications we may limit your thinking with regards to its uses, but some industries where TPU film is used include; automotive, building, medical & healthcare, textile, security, leisure and sports. There are many uses for such an extraordinary material which can be supplied in any length in thicknesses of 0.06 mm and 0.08 mm. An industrial thickness has been used in supporting bridges!
